How is PPF Care different from a regular wash or wax?

A regular wash only removes surface dust, and wax leaves residue trapped inside PPF micro-texture. PPF Care uses Koch-Chemie TPU-safe chemistry to dissolve resin, tar and bug remains, then applies a flexible coating that restores hydrophobicity and self-healing without stressing the film.

Why can't I just apply a 9H ceramic coating on top of PPF?

9H ceramic coatings are rigid — they lock the TPU surface, kill its self-healing and elasticity, and long-term cause cracking or yellowing. Most PPF manufacturers void the warranty once a hard ceramic is applied.

How long does one session take? Can I collect the car the same day?

Accepted Answer

Indoor and outdoor plans usually take 6–8 hours. Drop-off in the morning, pickup by evening in most cases. If polishing or heavy contamination is added we'll flag the schedule change up front.

Why do outdoor-parked cars need it every 6–9 months?

Accepted Answer

Outdoor cars face heavier UV, acid rain, bird droppings and tree sap. The sacrificial layer wears down faster, so a 6–9 month cadence restores protection before contamination penetrates the film edges.

I don't remember when the PPF was installed or which brand — can I still book?

Accepted Answer

Yes — pick the 'On-site Inspection' option. Our 15-minute check identifies film thickness, brand traits and contamination level, and we quote the most suitable care plan on the spot.
