Automotive Window Tint Hong Kong — Deep Guide

Before choosing ceramic tint, security film, Colour PPF or paint protection film — understand the pricing, inspection rules, warranty and aftercare.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the window tint pass Hong Kong vehicle inspection?
GSWF Ceramic HIR Series meets the HKTD requirement of at least 70% VLT on the front windshield. We handle the exemption certificate and inspection paperwork end-to-end — 100% pass guaranteed on the standard vehicle inspection.
What is the difference between ceramic film and traditional dyed film?
Ceramic tint uses nano-ceramic particles delivering 90%+ IR heat rejection, contains no metal, and never interferes with GPS / ETC / 5G signals. Traditional dyed film fades to purple over time and offers weaker heat rejection.
How many years of warranty does GSWF tint carry?
GSWF Ceramic HIR Series is backed by a lifetime manufacturer warranty covering fading, bubbling and adhesive failure — jointly guaranteed by our studio and GSWF Global.
How long does window tint installation take?
A typical 5-window sedan takes 4–6 hours; SUV / MPV takes 6–8 hours. Adding the front windshield adds another 1–2 hours. All installs are performed indoors in a dust-controlled environment.
How much does window tint cost?
Full-car GSWF Ceramic HIR packages start from HK$6,800 depending on the vehicle. Bundle with PPF or Colour PPF for package pricing — contact us for a personalised quote.
