BYD Seal's design draws from Ocean Aesthetics — low body stance, streamlined wide silhouette, frameless doors, flush handles, shark gill intakes, twin D-shape tail lights. It's one of Hong Kong's top-selling pure EV coupes for 2025 (100+ units/month). But each design element raises PPF complexity beyond conventional sedans — the body has curves rather than flat transitions; frameless doors have no rubber seal; retractable handles have capacitive sensors; the low front lip sits just 130mm off the ground.

The Seal is 1,875mm wide and just 1,460mm tall, so it leaves about 31cm per side when parked — but the vulnerable areas are underneath. Hong Kong car-park entrances are steep and residential estates are full of humps, so scraped front lips and kerbed side skirts are the classic low-sedan damage.
