Porsche Panamera is the marque's only 4-door GT coupe, designed to blend 911 performance with Cayenne practicality. The long body (5,199mm; Executive 5,349mm), wide track (1,937mm) and extremely low nose (front lip 130mm ground clearance) make Panamera especially prone to scraping the front lip, sills and rear diffuser during daily parking, ramp navigation and speed bumps.

Panamera is also a top Porsche Individual custom option, with owners frequently specifying Frozen matte paints, Individual metallic colours (Amaranth Red, Sapphire Blue Metallic) or SportDesign aero packages. Repaint costs on these premium finishes are far above standard paint (single Individual door respray HK$15,000+). Full-car PPF is standard protection for owners defending this level of investment.

The Panamera is 1,937mm wide and over 5,050mm long — longer than some older estate bays — so both ends need care; kerbed front lips and tapped rear bumpers are common. The width leaves roughly 28cm per side, so door edges and front wings take hits from neighbouring cars.

We recommend an extended front package — bumper, lower lip, bonnet edge, mirrors, headlights and door edges — from HK$9,800, or full-body PPF at HK$20,000 – HK$32,000+. Porsche respray costs are high and blending colour along a long flank is difficult, so film is the safer route.

Most Panamera owners keep the executive look: clear PPF over the whole car plus accent colour work — satin-black roof, blacked-out window surrounds for a Sport Design effect, and darkened spoiler and lower diffuser. Accent sets start at HK$3,800.

For a full change, Punisher Grey and Midnight Purple show the most depth along the long flanks, at HK$28,000 – HK$38,000+ with a 5-year warranty. Colour film also protects against chips and peels away cleanly, which matters for Porsche resale.
